MFN Welcomes New Intern Lukas Martin

The Madison Founders Network is excited to welcome Lukas Martin as our newest intern. Lukas is a senior sport and recreation management major at James Madison University, with a minor in entrepreneurship, who hopes to work in sports business development after graduation. This semester, he'll be writing newsletters for MFN, a role that will help him get to know the successful founders within the network. We sat down with Lukas to learn a little more about him.

What are you studying at JMU, and what do you hope to do after graduation?

I am currently a senior sport and recreation management major, with a minor in entrepreneurship. After graduation, I hope to work in sports business development while I wait to hear back from VCU and the Center for Sport Leadership program.

What interested you in joining the Madison Founders Network as an intern?

Joining the Madison Founders Network interested me because of the vast opportunity to network with some of JMU's most successful graduates, and to understand and learn from them what it takes to create, run, and/or exit a successful company.

What are you most looking forward to working on this semester?

I look forward to writing newsletters for MFN, as I feel it will help me really get to know the successful founders within the network.

What's something people might be surprised to learn about you?

I have lived in four different countries, and I graduated high school in Vienna, Austria.

Please join us in welcoming Lukas to the Madison Founders Network!
